Abstract

One of the significant problems facing human society is the issue of 'social deviations,' which has been a topic of discussion among sociologists since the late 19th century. Despite various studies and theories being presented to identify the causes of this issue and propose solutions, this crisis still persists. Among the intellectuals who have paid attention to this issue and devised ways to address it, Professor Murtaza Mutahhari is a notable figure. He not only identified the causes of social deviations but also outlined a strategy for their prevention, which, through further research, could provide a relatively comprehensive model for solving this crisis.

In fact, Martyr Mutahhari emphasizes the importance and necessity of moral education and training, as well as providing a suitable cultural and social environment, to prevent social deviations. According to him, this ensures that deviations do not arise in society in the first place. However, if such deviations do occur, Martyr Mutahhari also stresses the need to establish effective social and judicial institutions capable of controlling and addressing these deviations.

This article, using a research-based descriptive and analytical methodology, presents strategies for the prevention and control of social deviations from the perspective of Martyr Mutahhari. In the course of this research, the author has concluded that according to Martyr Mutahhari, the fundamental model for preventing and controlling social deviations is the training of human soul.
